Well, if that wasn't the most... unreasonable trip I've ever taken, I can't say I know what was.

[Cheria looks a little ragged today, her hair still something of a frizzy tussled mess, and some of the Pokemon around her look a bit exhausted as well. The feed eventually pans to show that she's on the Fuschia beach, and hey it is a nice beach at least.]

So did anyone else get weirdly teleported around? I went to sleep just outside of the city and woke up out to sea at the Seafoam islands. I just... my gear was broke and there aren't any ferries going directly from there, so at least thank goodness I had plenty of water types to surf with? [But her life, please.]

I guess this post is to say I'm not missing or dead or stuck somewhere, I was just lost to sea for a little while there.

Mostly I've just been exploring the Kanto region. I never really got further than the cities right around Saffron, so it's interesting to see how different they are compared to Johto.

We definitely should! I think I might be in Fuschia for the rest of the summer, so if you come to Kanto, let me know and I'll come meet you up in Saffron for sure!

Okay. I don't have any plans for after I visit the Safari Zone, so I could probably take the train over to Kanto. How different is it from Johto?

It's not too different, but more of it's larger cities are all together. The towns seem a lot closer together as well, everything taking a little less time to reach when in flight.

That sounds convenient. Doesn't it feel a bit crowded, though? I know some of the cities in Johto are busy, but with all the long routes, it's really quite peaceful.

Not really, Saffron is bigger than Goldenrod, and then Celadon has a large department store, but those two in particular are surrounded by wide open routes. I think Celadon has a bike path one can take down to Fuschia, but it's a days worth of riding and all downhill.
