I understand what you're doing, and I appreciate it. Thank you. I do want to give him the ability to change though.. because being this lonely is something I understand too. He wants friends, even if he thinks he's better than others, but I'd like to say I'm changing his mind about that. Even if it's only a little.
Your group are all fairly young still, and without any adults around to explain how things are supposed to go, just being expected to understand and work things out sounds ridiculous.
