[Just another day on the Trub-cam! Trubby, who named himself since he has not received a name yet, is fiddling with the Gear for lunchtime, and has decided to take it with him on his quest; to be loved by mommy! Three guesses at who "mommy" is, and the first two don't count. Dragging the gear along, he's making a slight plasticy rustling noise, and there's some footage of the back of Cheria's shoes and the hem of her skirt.

She's humming, unaware of the noise over the sizzling of chicken in the pan over the small fire. Standing from her crouched place to move and get something, the feed just gets a view of legs, and they stretch up and there goes Trubby pointing the feed up.. Except Cheria's hands are flattening her skirt to her thighs, giving a rather disgruntled face to the camera.]

Just where do you think you're pointing that?!

[CONFISCATING THAT GEAR and not knowing it's recording... oops. Well, viewers get the inside of an apron pocket for the rest of show while Cheria finishes cooking; eventually, it times out.]

You need to train him not to do that if you're insistin' on keepin' him, havvin' a disobedient poke beast isn't gonna do you any good.

[The salad looks good though, so he scoops a little of it to put on his plate.]

This looks fine to me. I mean yeah, it probably is better wwith the croutons but that doesn't mean that it isn't also good wwithout them.

I know, I know. These eggs need to hatch faster, it's a little too hard to train the Magikarp with the Trubbish being.. himself. [Smelly and do-what-he-wants.]

Good, I was hoping you would like it! [Beaming a smile, she's going to go back to cooking her chicken then, humming again.]

I think they should be hatchin' sometime soon. By the end of the wweek at most I'm assumin'?

[And he is just watching her, cooking and humming along, it's just so weird to be hanging around with someone who actually talks to him and just accepts what he says.]

Hopefully! I've been writing down notes on how the eggs look each day so I can guess more accurately with each egg I get.

[It shouldn't be weird at all, is what she would say. The humming eventually comes to an end as she moves her slice of chicken onto a plate and gets some salad as well. Having a seat, she's going to dig in! With lady-like tendencies, of course. Not one to stuff her face, she starts with the salad.]

So how was today's training?

[Eridan goes back to eating, stopping a moment to wave his fork around as he swallows his food before answering. Gotta have manners and all.]

Wwell my Horsea levvelled up again an' I evven got some experience for Dualscar so it wwent pretty wwell.

[oh that's right]

Dualscar's the name a'the other karp, the one I'm actually levvellin' up. Finally thought of a good enough name for it.

[Manners are such a wonderful thing!] That's good! Where did you get the name Dualscar from? It sounds very unique.

[Works away at her salad while listening.]

It wwas the name of my ancestor. He wwas really great in evverythin' he did, ruled the seas an' evveryone feared him. It's a perfect name for it seein' as Kar said they transform into those Gyrados types.

Wow... that really does sound amazing! I suppose the fierce look of a Gyarados would fit a powerful ancestor like that. [PUMPING YOUR EGO MUCH? OOPS.]

Exactly! make's sense I'd name somethin' of that magnificence after someone as awwesome as my ancestor wwas.

What did you name your others, if I can ask? [SHE LIKES ASKING QUESTIONS THAT MAKE HIM TALK, it gives her more time to eat and the conversation is pretty nice anyway! Also gives her a better idea on what kind of person he is. A little full of himself, but it's a proudness that isn't so bad. She's seen worse.]

[He shuts up for a minute to eat another fork full of food- he was pretty hungry after all. Once he swallows it though, Eridan is quite content to chatter away.]

Well.. Incitatus is the name of my Horsea. Did I tell you that already? Not sure if I did or not.

Anywway it wwas the name of Caligula's favvourite horse. He was this really great [tyrannical] ruler so i think it's really fittin'.

I'm wwaitin' on that other egg to hatch, if it turns out to be somethin' that looks like it could be feirce then I'm gonna name it Ahab. He wwas the name of the really great [tyrannical] captain in the Moby Dick story if you'vve read it.

As for this Misdreavvus I havve, I'm havvin' trouble thinkin' of something.

[That's all for now, so he goes back to eating. Oh. Wait.[

Oh and that other Magikarp I got is called Sol cause that's also a bloody fuckin' fittin' name.

[She is listening with interest, at least! Nodding at knowing the Moby Dick story, well.. she can't agree that he was great, but the story was written to be that way and he must have liked the character, so no harm there. Hmm's a little at the Misdreavus still being unnamed.. she'll help think of something.

"Sol" makes her tilt her head though, fork removed from her mouth.] Sol? That means the sun in some languages. I guess it could fit, since the coloring is so bright. [NOPE DON'T KNOW THIS SOL.]

No that isn't it. Sollux is Alternian for "idiotic mutant dumbass."

[Said oh so casually as he carries on with dinner]

[ ---- Okay then. That makes it sound like a name, rather than just a meaning. In otherwords, someone named Sollux is very much not Eridan's friend. Hold up, she's trying to shut her mouth after looking so caught offguard by the words. Going to just put a piece of chicken in and chew it until she can think of a new topic instead.]

I uh.. I see. Well, what's your Misdreavus like so far? A boy or a girl? It's easier to pick a name knowing that.

He's male. I havven't had it out too much so far but.. I'm not sure. It's sorta bad at followwin' orders at times, I mean it's quiet but sometimes it just wwanders off tryin' to get up to no good.

It could be that he's just new and getting used to you too. [Back to smiling again, she hmms thoughtfully.] Maybe as he's out more, you'll learn more about his personality and can name him appropriately.

I guess I'll wwait a little longer an' see then. I wwanna name it before we get to the next city though so I'vve gotta think of somethin' before then.

Yeah, you wouldn't want him wandering off without a name to call him back with. I'm sure you'll think of something. [She'll think on it too, though she won't say so. He should have the chance to name the Pokemon before she tries to, since it's his. Works on finishing her chicken up now and dabs her mouth with a napkin, then starts gathering empty dishes.]

See, the problem is that all the others havve nautical themed names but this one ain't evven a wwater based pokebeast so it makes it harder.

[He will think on it later, as he said. Eating the last couple bites he passes his plate over to her with a small smile.]

It's no problem, I'm glad you liked it! [She has to nod in agreement though; naming things takes a little thought. It's why her Trubbish still doesn't quite have a name.. Collecting that plate and taking it over, she'll start cleaning up those dishes as well as packing away extra salad. It can be a light snack later on!]

[Eridan decides to be a gentleman and offer to help...

Except no. He is perfectly okay with just sitting here and letting her handle all the cleaning.]

Did you name any of yours yet?

I haven't thought of anything for the Trubbish yet.. but I decided to name the fish Mana. It's a short name and easy to remember, and he seems to like it. Once the others hatch, I'll see how they are before I name them.

[She has no problems with him not helping; she cooked, so she cleans.]

I'd call it a sack of shit but I'm guessin' you aren't up for that name.
