Personality:

Sweet, caring, and always wanting to help people, Cheria is typically called an "angel of joy" in game by several people. She always wants to protect and gives up so much for other people, Cheria tends to leave herself the short end of the stick. It's not that she doesn't think she doesn't deserve it, but that they deserve it so much more. She's so nice, that the guy who kidnapped her and tried to feed her to monsters got hurt... and she healed him without complaint or being asked. It's not to say that she doesn't have a sour side when people push her buttons, but she rarely gets so seriously angry that she deliberately tries to hurt someone. Cheria does have some lungs on her and can get into shouting matches when mothering, if only because those she is mothering on have thick skulls.

Being a teenaged girl on the brink of adulthood, Cheria does have some general "girl" responses to certain situations. Things like her hair puffing out and frizzing when it's too humid? Oh my god she needs to hide! SO EMBARRASSING! Or, she gets a new ribbon, the guy of her dreams doesn't notice because he's a derp? AUGHGHHH BOYSS WHYY. Talking about leaving through the Rockgagong's butt after being eaten by it? NO WE WILL NOT BE DOING THAT, WHY SO DISGUSTING EVERYONE.

Despite being so kind, Cheria does have a stubborn streak in her. It doesn't make her bull-headed and not listen to others, but she never gives up on people. There is always a way to help them, in some way, shape or form. Then again, she also refuses to tell Asbel her true feelings for him. She has a good reason, at least! When they were children, Asbel left home due to plot related reasons and left Cheria all alone out of their small group of friends. Due to that, she's become a bit clingy due to being outright abandoned. Hubert had no choice, neither did Sophie, and Richard was a prince so he obviously couldn't stay around.. but Asbel? He just left, even after promising to stay. They've come to terms with this and are past it, but it doesn't change that Cheria still behaves a little more clingy than she really needs to be; he won't leave her again, but she still worries. It's not as though she had been expecting him to leave after promising not to, you know?

Debt: Healing Sophie
Suitability: She would be angry if her debt wasn't fulfilled after all the work she'd put into it, and beg a little that at least that be done. She doesn't care how much she has to work, just please make it happen. Cheria wasn't able to heal her herself and they're out of options outside a crazy wacky GO TO ANOTHER PLANET adventure and she's still extremely worried that they won't find a cure up here even.

Abilities, Strengths, and Weaknesses:

Cheria's abilities are divided between "artes" and "bursts", where artes are physical attacks and bursts are special moves. She's extremely skilled with throwing knives and daggers, and while she can't parry, Cheria is super mobile due to her artes being from a distance. She is also a primary healer who uses most of her bursts for multiple target healing. That's not to say not all of her skills are medic oriented, she can absolutely pack a punch in a pinch. Bursts are typically done in a poem or phrase chant, and the longer the spell the more it heals or hurts. Cheria is also not exactly fast, and due to weapon balancing, she has the worst defense of the whole team; but quicksteps are a thing that can be used enough to save her hide in a pinch and she's good at that considering she's the multi-healer of the group!

For strengths that aren't combat related, there are mostly things to reiterate from the personality section. She's motherly, patient and kind, and very strong willed. Her compassion exceeds most people, because really, who would heal someone who tried to kill them?? Seriously. It's not that she's too kind for her own good, but that she truly values life. When Cheria was a child, she had an incurable, unknown illness that made it difficult to live a regular childhood and she began to cherish every day she was alive. She's also an amazing cook, with both eleth mixer and regular cooking utensils.

Cheria's weaknesses that aren't combat related are that she's a bit of a slow runner, and did we mention how much of a mother she is to friends? She takes it to further degrees sometimes that most people might not appreciate so much. It might be because Pascal would go forever without showering ever if Cheria didn't wrestle her into a tub, but making sure everyone smells at least decent is important. Making sure everyone eats right, sleeps enough, and nosing into peoples business.... well. She does know how to take a hint if her mothering does get to be a pain. Cheria is also extremely stubborn, and has really intense abandonment issues courtesy of her friends all leaving her over the span of ONE DAY.

First Person Sample:>

I can't take this anymore! [Speaking a bit muffled, the feed is covered a moment before being fumbled up to showing Cheria's face, where she's covering her nose and mouth with her sleeve and looking a little green.]

Someone, anyone, how do I get this trash bag to stop following me? It's unbelievable enough that it's a moving trash bag, but I just can't take this smell! [There's a small sound of plastic scraping on concrete, and Cheria lets out a little indignant squeak before stepping back from something offscreen, looking positively horrified.]

No! Don't come closer!

Third Person Sample:

While working at both the PokeCenter and the Bike Shop were exhausting, when the paychecks hit, it was finally that one day of the week that Cheria really let herself go; and spend, that is. Goldenrod City was definitely her favorite place in this world for the few she's seen so far, but it had little to do with the big lights and abundance of people.

No, what she loved most of all, was the department store.

Browsing the aisles with a shopping basket looped in her arm, Cheria sighed peacefully for what seemed like the first time in weeks. It had taken a fairly long time to get here, and even though she's worried about everyone back home, she's been told by so many kind people that things are on.. pause. While confusing at first, Cheria knew she had to trust in their words. Sighing quietly, then forcing an almost too bright smile to her face, she let her eyes open again.

To be greeted with the sight of a stand full of cards with photos on them. Curious, she glanced both ways along the crossing of the aisle before stepping closer and picking up a few to see what they were. Postcards? Write a message with a friendly greeting... Huh. Smiling a bit to herself, Cheria picked five different ones and added them to her basket.

"I'll write to them. They may not get the letters, but.. my feelings may get across. Right?"

Looking to her left, as if asking the boy in the yellow hat, she freezes when she realizes it isn't a person standing there. The Hypno looked over slowly and offered a creepy smile, to which Cheria responded with a frozen squeak. Skittering backwards with a speed that could be rivaled with electricity, she was so far down the next aisle before the Pokemon could let out a low chuckle.
