Well, if that wasn't the most... unreasonable trip I've ever taken, I can't say I know what was.

[Cheria looks a little ragged today, her hair still something of a frizzy tussled mess, and some of the Pokemon around her look a bit exhausted as well. The feed eventually pans to show that she's on the Fuschia beach, and hey it is a nice beach at least.]

So did anyone else get weirdly teleported around? I went to sleep just outside of the city and woke up out to sea at the Seafoam islands. I just... my gear was broke and there aren't any ferries going directly from there, so at least thank goodness I had plenty of water types to surf with? [But her life, please.]

I guess this post is to say I'm not missing or dead or stuck somewhere, I was just lost to sea for a little while there.

Hehe, yeah it might take a little while in Johto, but the gym leaders there are all really neat people too! The first one you'll meet is Falkner, and he specializes in flying type Pokemon. So you're new to this world?

Oh, I got that taken care of when I came to Kanto! Sabrina, the psychic leader of Saffron also gives out the HM for Fly.

I just took a guess from you calling yourself Mayushii, haha! So long as you're alright with it. Yeah, a handful here and there have been here for almost three years though!

A bit of a fight, yeah. It was a long while ago, before I had as many Pokemon as I do now, but since I'm a breeder, I technically didn't need to fight her. I just wanted to try the gym challenge, so it's the only badge I have and the only HM I've earned. [She's quite proud of herself for it.]

You decided to hit two birds with one stone, then. You should try the Water-type Gym, if there's one out there. It turns out that they really enjoy battling trainers who use their own elements.

There is! I didn't challenge her while I was up there, but Misty allowed me to let some of my larger water types relax in the gym pool, simply because there wasn't another place to put them so they could eat and stretch out.

There are a good handful enough between Johto and Kanto. Let's see, Johto has.. the path in Mt. Mortar, the whirlpool island caves, the cave path that reaches between Blackthorn and Violet. Those are the ones I'm thinking of offhand. Then Kanto has the path through Mt. Moon, a cave to the north of Cerulean, another to the south that takes one to Lavender Town, and the ones scattered through the Seafoam islands.

I'm not sure if there is even a game really to beat. People who do leave are usually taken by surprise, and there aren't any circumstances leading up to it that anyone has noticed yet.

Hm.. I wonder if that would really be a thing to try. I don't know how to sail, but I do have a lot of water types that could be of help throughout the travels, and I'm good at cooking with limited foods.

[ That's a pretty big risk for one good reason: ] Won't they get tired of swimming after a while?

Some of them are big enough that they can just float for a while, hehe. Wailord and Lapras are both excellent traveling companions when it comes to surfing for that; Wailord especially! [NO REALLY, IT'S LIKE WALKING AROUND ON A FOOTBALL FIELD.]

And considering I just tested that whole idea out for about a week of surfing, we'd just have to have Pokemon taking turns and such.

A crying lord is good for travel?

[ Newbie trainer alert. ] That makes sense--to have them take turns with surfing. You should travel with another trainer or two that could help out in an emergency.

What if there's a big wave or a storm?

Oh no, a -- [That's kind of funny. She's going to get a picture up on her pokedex now to show what a Wailord is.] Yes, more than one trainer would definitely help though. I suppose there is still a lot of planning to do if I'm going to try that for sure though, especially with that thought; what would I do if there was a big wave or storm?
