There's got to be a flashlight in here somewhere...

[There's a soft, light voice coming from offscreen, pointing off into the water with scenery familiar to most beginners; just outside Mom's house, and the lights are off and that door looks quite locked. The user of this gear was patting around, rummaging through a heavy sounding bag, but... something in the darkness moves.

The rustling of plastic on grass is out of place enough to startle the voice, because there's a squeak.]

Is someone there? Hello?

[Nothing but more rustling, and it's weirding the girl out. Picking up the gear and finally flicking on the flashlight that was found, there's a brief picture of her face finally, but something is leaping off screen and making her scream sharply, dropping the gear.]

You got such an ugly one as a starter? [ A chuckle. ] Someone here wasn't really lucky. Perhaps you can get some cute pokemons later.

I wish I had one as a starter instead of this.. someone called it a Trubbish, I think?

Some believe the starter pokemon reflects us in some aspect. It doesn't say good things about you if you got a Trubbish as a starter! [ A crackle. It's hard to miss this troll opportunity. ]

About the only thing we have in common is being tenacious. [Points down -- she's in a tree -- at the Trubbish who is trying to climb and sliding on his plastic skin back down the tree..]

[ A giggle. ]

I suggest you to try putting it back at the pokeball or else you will be there all the day. But there are more beautiful creatures around here to see.

I would... certainly hope so. [Looking for the pokeball she opened earlier, she can't find it in her bag......... glances down again, there it is. On the ground. Past the Trubbish.]
